I started Country and Craft to honour my country upbringing and in particular, my Parents who were authors of many happy memories at Country Shows, Race Meetings and Ploughing Matches. They were equal opportunity Parents so we worked at home, on the farm and in the business but the year was punctuated with a calendar of shows, matches and race meetings and we honour and celebrate that tradition of country life with our children now. My Mum loved to cook and entertain so I’m a foodie by nature and then became a Caterer by Profession. 23 years ago I opened 'Kit your Kitchen Cookshop' in The Bridge Centre, Tullamore and took my catering experience into homewares and that criteria formed the basis of all our purchasing decisions; best quality...best price! Our homeware ranges showcase some of the finest handcrafted and beautifully designed accessories in a blend of modern colours and traditional country design.
